  1. In Project, click the desired user.

  2. In Properties, click image3 and in the context menu, click the desired group name.

  3. Repeat this step for each group to which it will be associated.

Define a hierarchy of users between the groups

A typical classification that can be created with groups is that of user levels, thanks to which it is possible to define a hierarchy (e.g.: administrators, operators, guests).

To implement a hierarchy, follow these steps:

  1. identify the optimal hierarchy between the groups

  2. associate all users of an upper level group to all lower level groups.

For example, all users that belong to the ”Operators” group must also belong to the lower level “Guests” group.

Define the starting user of an application with background graphical interface

Define the starting user in the native presentation engine and/or in the web Presentation engine, in the Starting user properties.

Hint

it is recommended to set a “Guest” user with minimum permissions as the starting user, which displays a start window for the access of actual users using credentials.
