Introduction
This tutorial looks at all the steps necessary to design an HMI application from scratch, from installing Q Studio to compiling and running the application locally via the emulator.
The tutorial is divided into various modules, each of which contains a purpose and preview of the result obtained by following the steps. In addition, some modules contain resources to download to completely follow the procedures.
The level of information in this tutorial is reduced to what is necessary to complete the project and gain a good basic understanding of how the system works. To learn more about the topics presented, each module contains several references to the pages of the manual. For any further information, please refer to the same manual.
Examples
In the tutorial some specific settings are indicated, for example the position of a graphical element or the value of a variable to be displayed in pixels. These values are by way of example, to obtain a result consistent with what is shown in the supporting images and videos.
