Common operations in the Project panelΒΆ

Open an object in the editor

If a dedicated editor is available for the object, double-click the object in Project or click image1.

Creating a Folder

  1. Click the node on which the object is to be created.

  2. Click o image2, or right-click > New and select Folder: a new folder will appear in Project.

Moving a Node

Press and hold the node, then move it to the desired destination and release. Alternatively, use the copy and paste commands from the keyboard or from the context menu.

Deleting a Node

  1. Select a node and click image3, or press the CANC key.

  2. Only if the node has relations with other nodes. A window appears that highlights all the nodes that contain references: click Delete to confirm the operation, or Cancel to abort.

Displaying References of a Node

Right-click the desired node and then click Show references:: a window highlighting the nodes containing references will appear.

Displaying all Instances of a Node

Right-click the desired type and then click Show Instances: a window highlighting the instances in the information model will appear.
